English summary on page 53 as follows: The article consists of two major parts: a) In its first part, the author sums up all discoveries so far on flooring bricks through several investigations and archaeological excavations. These are sqaure bricks with decorations on one side. Recalling the erroneous views of 2 French scholars, H. Parmentier and R. Mercier, who treated them as bricks for wall-plastering, with new archaeological findings, the article asserts that these were flooring bricks in ancient Vietnamese monuments.
