| Abstract: | This incense-burner is 52cm high, 27cm in mouth diameter, the mouth, neck, body and foot were differentiated clearly by the thick lines in relief. The incense-burner was decorated with figures of human face, dragon, elephant, deer, bat in relief under brown, blue glaze. Two poems on the incense-burner's ears show that it was made in Hai Duong (old name), maybe at Thanh Lam in the late 16th century, not in Bat Trang as R. Brown's remark. |
