Abstract:	The paper introduces 4 paper roll-shaped plates kept in the Vietnam Museum of History in H.C.M. city. These plates, though still used figures and designs to highlight the inscriptions and the traditional decorative patterns, changed a little and accepted some European features. Engraving and embossing are the main technique for creating the beauty and imposing characteristics of the sort of these artifacts.
